I received my first chihuahua as a gift in 1986 and have been in love ever since. For the past seventeen years, I have been breeding and showing chihuahuas with considerable success both in the show ring and in the overall quality of my dogs, albeit on a very limited basis. My goal is to come as close to the standard as possible while striving for optimum health, soundness and well balanced temperament and to improve the quality of each litter in a small, but discriminating breeding program, generally having just one litter per year. A litter of puppies is incredibly rewarding and enormous fun, but also hard work and a huge commitment in terms of time and money. Above all, I have the responsibility of finding the right home for each puppy that I don't decide to keep and I take this very seriously indeed. My proudest moments come from showing my dogs in the Bred-by-Exhibitor class. My pet puppies come with limited registration, health guarantee and a spay/neuter contract. All of my dogs live in our home. We do not have a kennel. I am a member of the Chihuahua Club of America, the Dallas Chihuahua Club and the Dallas/Fort Worth Toy Dog Club. I am an AKC Breed Judge and hope qualify to judge the entire Toy Group within the next several years.
